After a 12 week intensive course we are pleased to announce that 6 people have passed the Intermediate license. This equates to 100% pass for those who attended the course. Details of who passed and their new callsigns will follow after the holidays.
Congratulations to them all

Hi All

Just a quick update on the repeaters.

As of 5PM Saturday 18th June Gb3GY was reconnected to the Echo Link network.
Also refitted GB3GG's power amplifier but it is still very poor signal strength it would seem that there is a problem with the band pass filter.
Should be able to run tests on this next weekend.

The timeout on GY has been reduced, an accurate 5 minutes is hard to set as it is done with an un-calibrated trimmer, but we are close!

The slide show on GG has been slowed down.

If you hear abuse please contact me by email at john.ferrier@ntlworld.com

I have spent a lot of time monitoring GY lately and heard no problems but also very little activity.
It would be a shame if an attempt at increasing activity with the Echolink NOV is spoilt by abuse.
